More about What this all is and who i am
Growing up a middle-class white kid in North-West London can't be all to exciting one would probably assume, but, well, i'd agree. It has its ups for sure, after reaching the ages 13 and onwards things feel more free. You can travel on public transport alone, or with friends, unlocking more things to do with your day. But it also certainly has its downs. If you ask across a school year, i'd bet my Lil yachty teenage emotions t-shirt on the fact 66.27% people have been/known someone that has been robbed, in my personal opinion this is THE worst thing about living in the UK, London specifically. In a more broader sense, the fact it is such a talked about, travelled to place, makes it seem like a utopia, an ultimate destination. But having lived here my whole life, i can certainly assure you, it is not. The people are rude, most men are creeps, there's so much homelessness, the governments a mess. This concept of this 'idealised utopia' (in this context London) can be used globally, infact philosophically. Look at life, there's ups, and downs, but almost every person feels the need to escape at some point, now some do this by illegally taking substances (drugs like MDMA, DMT, any form of psychedelic) which at the time may feel like escaping to a whole other dimension. Others prefer more mellow strategies when attempting to metaphorically escape from society, like reading a book, going on a walk, listening to music. Now coming to the topic of what this all is, links to what we just explored. Let this site be your MDMA, your psychedelic, your mindfulness walk. Let this site be your escape.
